Ba Bar Seattle: Street Food and Cold Drink

babarseattle.com
550 12th Avenue
Seattle, Washington

Meal cost: $26.00
Ordered: Veggie Vermicelli, Special Bahn Mi, and two Earl Gray Teas
Rating: 8.5 / 10

While this restaurant seems to be an unusual combination of a French cafe and bakery, a cocktail lounge, and a Vietnamese food cart, it somehow all works together.   By morning they serve baked goods and coffee, however they are open until 4AM on Friday and Saturday nights.  We visited for lunch, and luckily they had few chefs working in an open, windowed kitchen making the special of the day, Bahn Mi.    The atmosphere is a mix of modern, with rustic furniture, tons of windows, while being cozy and quaint.
